Created for true chocolate lovers. The beans of two ancestral varieties of Peruvian cacao are imported from small local cooperatives after being harvested at the optimum time and fermented to seal their rich and unique flavors.
Roasted in Quebec according to our specifications, these beans are crushed and then infused in our neutral barley alcohol distilled on site twice. To ensure the transmission of the richness of the original cacao beans’ full palate, neutral cacao beans are reinfused in the liqueur after a third distillation.
Our cacao liqueur presents a deep and luminous mahogany colour. The aroma and flavor is rich, complex and nuanced with notes of cocoa powder and caramel wrapped in a balanced sweetness.
The best mint varieties have been selected for their unique characteristics: bright, peppery, flavorful and long-lasting. They are infused in our barley alcohol distilled on-site, then carefully re-distilled so as to extract the purest aromas of the mint. The result is a refreshing and bracing liqueur.
A subtle touch of Belgian candy sugar is added to sweetly coat the cool flavours of the mint leaves. This is mint expressed in beautifully pure liquid form, a far cry from the cheap green tinted artificially flavoured mint liqueurs that crowded store shelves in years past.
